Workshop Host & Customer Experience Assistant

Location: Angel, London, with regular travel across London and occasionally further afield for corporate events.

About Blomma Beauty

Blomma Beauty is an independent natural skincare and wellbeing business dedicated to helping people slow down, care for themselves and discover beautiful, effective natural products. Alongside our carefully curated skincare collection, we host workshops, wellness experiences and skincare education designed to make self-care approachable, enjoyable and meaningful.

As a small business, no two days are the same. We believe everyone on our team should feel empowered to contribute ideas, take ownership of their work and create exceptional experiences for every customer.

About the Role

We're looking for someone who loves variety and enjoys being part of every aspect of a growing business.

This is a true generalist role. One day you could be leading a skincare workshop for a corporate client, the next welcoming guests to our studio, packing online orders, answering customer emails, preparing products for an event or helping improve our day-to-day operations.

You'll become an important part of the business, helping ensure every customer interaction feels warm, thoughtful and personal, whether that's in our studio, at a corporate event or online.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Hosting and leading skincare and wellbeing workshops with confidence and enthusiasm
  • Creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where people feel comfortable and engaged
  • Delivering outstanding customer service in person, online and by email
  • Packing online orders with care and attention to detail
  • Managing day-to-day administration and operational tasks
  • Preparing products and equipment for workshops and corporate events
  • Travelling to client venues to deliver workshops and wellbeing experiences
  • Helping with stock organisation and inventory management
  • Supporting marketing activities and social media where appropriate
  • Keeping the studio organised, clean and welcoming

Who We're Looking For

Qualifications are far less important to us than attitude.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, proactive and genuinely cares about doing a great job. You'll enjoy working independently, spotting what needs doing without being asked and taking pride in helping the business succeed.

You'll thrive in this role if you are:

  • Warm, approachable and naturally put people at ease
  • Comfortable speaking to groups and leading workshops
  • Exceptionally trustworthy and reliable
  • Happy taking ownership and seeing tasks through
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure and adaptable when plans change
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed
  • A confident communicator, both in person and in writing
  • Curious and always keen to learn new skills
  • Positive, hardworking and willing to go the extra mile when needed

Working Pattern

Because we run workshops and events, flexibility is important. The role will include regular evening and weekend work, together with travel to corporate clients across London and, from time to time, elsewhere in the UK. No two weeks look exactly the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety and is happy working in different environments.

A Genuine Interest In...

We believe that the person is more important than the know-how and we empower you to learn on the job. While not essential, we'd particularly love to hear from people who have an interest in:

  • Natural skincare and beauty
  • Aromatherapy and botanical ingredients
  • Wellness and self-care
  • Teaching or facilitating workshops
  • Creating memorable customer experiences

Our Values

At Blomma Beauty, we care deeply about the people we work with. And, whilst we don't have the biggest budget for salary, we do create a great working environment with regular perks, treats and time spent together.

We value honesty, kindness and accountability. We look after each other, support our customers wholeheartedly and take pride in doing things properly.

This role comes with real responsibility and trust. We're looking for someone who is committed, dependable and excited by the opportunity to become a valued part of a small, growing business. In return, you'll have the chance to develop a broad range of skills, meet wonderful people and help create experiences that genuinely make a difference to someone's day.

If you're passionate, hardworking, enjoy connecting with people and want to build a career with an independent business that values initiative and care, we'd love to hear from you.

If this sounds up your street, please email info@blommabeauty.com and share why you think you'd be a good fit for us!
