Workshop Disclaimer – Natural Skincare Crafting & Facial Massage

By participating in this workshop, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. This includes any sessions involving the crafting of natural skincare products and/or instruction in facial massage techniques.

1. General Disclaimer

All information and guidance provided during this workshop is for educational and informational purposes only. Our expertise lies in craft-based skincare making and general wellness practices, not in professional cosmetic formulation or licensed therapeutic treatments. Products made and techniques taught are intended for personal, creative, and non-clinical use only. Nothing shared during the workshop is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Participants should consult with a qualified healthcare provider regarding any personal health concerns before using skincare products or practicing massage techniques learned in the workshop.

2. Ingredients and Allergens

  • Our workshops may involve the use of various natural ingredients, including but not limited to essential oils, botanical extracts, beeswax, clays, nut-based oils (e.g., almond oil, shea butter), and other plant-based materials.

  • While we strive to use gentle, high-quality ingredients, some participants may experience allergic reactions or sensitivities. It is the responsibility of each participant to notify the workshop facilitator of any known allergies or sensitivities prior to the session.

  • Participants are encouraged to perform a patch test before using any product on larger areas of skin.

  • We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

3. Essential Oils and Concentrated Substances

Essential oils are potent and must be used with caution. Incorrect use may result in skin irritation or other adverse effects. All recipes and instructions are provided with generally safe dilution guidelines, and participants are expected to follow these directions carefully. 

4. Facial Massage Instruction

Workshops may include demonstration or practice of facial massage techniques. These techniques are shared for relaxation and self-care purposes only and are not intended as professional therapy or medical treatment.

  • Participants should only perform techniques that feel comfortable and should stop immediately if they feel any discomfort, pain, or adverse effects.

  • The organisers and instructors accept no liability for any injuries or effects sustained during or after the class as a result of practicing these techniques.

  • Participants with existing medical, skin, or muscular conditions are strongly advised to seek professional advice before attempting any new techniques.

5. Health and Safety

  • All participants must follow health and safety guidelines as instructed during the workshop.

  • Safety equipment (e.g., gloves, aprons etc) may be provided and should be used as directed.

  • Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied and closely supervised by a responsible adult. Some ingredients, tools, or activities may not be suitable for young children.

6. Liability Waiver

By attending this workshop, you agree to participate at your own risk. The organisers, facilitators, and venue accept no responsibility or liability for:

  • Any injuries sustained during or after the workshop, including those related to skincare application or massage techniques.

  • Adverse reactions to products created or used.

  • Personal property loss or damage.

  • Misuse of information or materials provided.

You are solely responsible for the appropriate use and storage of any products or techniques you take away from the session.

7. Photography and Media

  • This event may be photographed or recorded for promotional or educational use.

  • By attending, you grant us the right to use your image or likeness in photos, videos, or other media taken during the workshop.

  • If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the organiser before the workshop begins.

8. Product Use and Storage

All products created during the workshop are intended for personal, non-commercial use only. Participants are advised to store products properly and use them within recommended timeframes.
