An essential oil free balm that's perfect for the whole family to help calm and promote healing of irritated patches of skin, eczema and psoriasis.

We love the use of zinc-rich sesame seed oil which stimulates collagen and helps the appearance of scars and stretch marks.

  • Tamanu oil contains many healing properties.
  • Sesame seed oil is naturally antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and moisturising as well as containing plenty of antioxidants, vitamins that penetrate all three layers of the skin. It is also rich in linoleic and oleic acids which are highly beneficial for anyone with dry inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea.
  • Easily absorbed apricot oil contains vitamins A and E which soothes softens and calms dry, itchy, inflamed and irritated skin
  • Hemp see oil is particularly good for hydrating and repairing dry and damaged skin as it contains a range of essential fatty acids and healing compounds. High in linoleic acid, which is an essential building block to produce ceramides, one of the skin's main moisturising components.
  • Shea butter helps create a breathable lipid barrier for your skin, which soothe, repair, and protect the skin. Shea butter is also plentiful in Vitamin A which is important for improving a number of skin conditions, including reducing the incidence of blemishes, wrinkles, dry itchy skin, eczema and dermatitis; and Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that protects your skin.

Made with love by

Coraline’s organic soaps and skincare are handmade in the UK in small batches in Kevin's soapery in Topsham, Devon. He forages locally for many of the ingredients to create bespoke essential oil blends so he can guarantee the purity and quality of the ingredients he's using in his products.

Coraline Skincare was inspired by Kevin's daughter Coraline who was born with Down's syndrome and whose skin reacted to synthetic products easily. 50p from each soap sold is donated to the charity Small Steps.

Sustainability

Your balm comes in a sulapac pot, a material that behaves like plastic but which biodegrades in a similar timeframe as tree leaves. It is 100% bio based, microplastic free and 100% ocean safe.

It is fully recyclable in your at home compost caddy. If your local council doesn't have composting facilities, then the pot can be placed in landfill where it will fully biodegrade leaving zero trace or impact on our planet. If it accidentally ends up in nature, it doesn’t harm the ecosystem in any way.

The cardboard box is fully recyclable

More information about Sulapac: The main components of the pots are wood and plant-based binders which are sustainably sourced, and which biodegrade quickly and fully into CO2, water and biomass leaving no microplastics behind.

The wood comes from FSC certified industry side streams (waste products). Made of completely non- toxic raw materials, that are safe for you and the environment.

All boxes and labels are printed using recycled or FSC recyclable paper and card, and eco toners which are not harmful to the planet.
