From the best vegan skincare brands
Buying vegan beauty products gives you peace of mind that no animal-derived ingredients are used to make your products and at Blomma Beauty we only stock brands which meet EU cruelty free regulations so you won't find any products that are tested on animals either!
We've rounded up some of our favourite certified vegan beauty products to help you build a completely vegan beauty regime. Choosing certified vegan products means that they have been verified by a third party like The Vegan Society but there are plenty of other products on our site that are made only with plant based ingredients and to the same standards but just don't have the certification. You can check them out here.
The vegan cleanser
The cornerstone of most beauty routines is good cleanser so finding that vegan alternative is the first step a lot of our customers take when switching to vegan skincare. We highly recommend Olixa's Gummy Cleanser for an all in one double cleanser. It's a unique texture that's a gel/gum which you massage on to dry skin. Then you gently pat your skin, particularly around any congested areas like your nose and t-zone to help draw out impurities before applying water to make a gentle cleansing milk and sweep away the dirt and grime. It's absolutely brilliant at tackling blackheads and minimising pores without stripping your skin so is particularly great for combination skin types.

The vegan exfoliator
If you love a good scrub to boost your circulation and slough away dead skin cells, the Codex Bia Exfoliator is for you as it's been clinically proven to clarify, soften and improve the appearance of your skin. Made with organic ingredients, this cream based exfoliator is gentle enough for daily use for all skin types. There's castor oil which clears pores and evens skin tone, elderflower water to cleanse and tone, milk thistle oil balance and even out redness and diagonally cut jojoba grains to gently resurface your skin without irritation.

The vegan moisturiser
Truly vegan moisturisers can be tricky to find, let alone one that caters to your skin type. Luckily Silvan Skincare have a fantastic range of vegan face creams that cater to 5 of the most common skin types. Choose from:
- Balance: Combination/Oily
- Soothe: Normal
- Rejuvenate: Very Dry/Mature
- Nourish: Dry
- Pure: Sensitive and Essential Oil Free
Our favourite is the Balance Face Cream because it's great for combination skin so it helps to balance and even redness and oiliness but it's also going to help keep your skin hydrated and it'll easily take you through the changing seasons all year round. The texture is the perfect balance between rich enough that you feel all of the organic, plant based ingredients going into your skin and light enough that it's easily absorbed and won't leave a greasy residue on your face.

The vegan eye cream
We're back to organic and vegan skincare brand Codex for our favourite vegan eye cream and this one's actually silky eye gel which is easily absorbed into the delicate eye area. There's a blend of organic ingredients like cucumber, bladder wrack (seaweed) and arnica which combine beautifully to help smooth, brighten and de-puff - basically everything you're looking for in an eye cream! Plus Codex invest heavily in certifications and independently verified clinical results because they want to be a truly transparent beauty brand.

The vegan face oil
Olixa have bottled nature's answer to retinol in their Amazonian Cacay Facial Oil. Cacay contains three times more retinol than rosehip oil, twice the vitamin F and 50% more vitamin E than Argan oil so this facial oil blend contains everything you need to achieve some seriously glowing skin. All Olixa's oils contain really easily absorbed ingredients so even oily skin types can see the benefits using facial oils can have.

The vegan lip balm
There's nothing worse than following your vegan diet to a tee only to have it ruined by a non vegan lip balm. Silvan's lip balms are certified vegan by The Vegan Society and come in a choice of yummy flavours, including a fragrance free one for even the most sensitive or chapped lips. Our personal favourites are zesty citrus for summer time and anise for winter and they come in aluminium tins which are infinitely recyclable.
