This multi-purpose skincare balm is perfect for skin that needs a hydration boost. 

Ideal for dry, mature and sensitive skin, it’s packed with antioxidants, such as beta carotene and vitamin E, and essential fatty acids to repair and regenerate damaged tissue as well as protect skin from moisture loss. 

We love how versatile this product is to use. You can use it as a daily moisturiser (it's one of the best organic moisturisers for dry skin), as a lip balm, or a moisturising mask for skin that needs a little bit more TLC. It’s also perfect to use all year round - it protects the skin during the colder winter season and helps to reduce water loss during the hotter summer months. 

  • Sea buckthorn oil is rich in beta carotene, vitamin E and omega 7 fatty acids to regenerate skin cells and promote skin healing.
  • Rosehip oil also helps to repair and regenerate damaged skin tissues.
  • Extra virgin olive oil, which contains antioxidants, vitamin E and squalene, helps to soften and smooth the skin.
  • Sweet almond oil to soften the skin.
  • Grapeseed oil to treat acne and tighten skin.
  • This product does not contain any essential oils and has a natural woody scent.

Founder Lucia Mencarelli, a qualified skincare formulator and skincare nutritionist, was inspired to create her own skincare line after experiencing multiple chemical sensitivity to products she was using. Her award-winning organic skincare range uses only three to eight ingredients and the products contain no essential oils or added fragrance, which makes it an excellent choice for those with very sensitive skin. Her products are handmade in small batches by an independent manufacturer in Scotland.

Each ingredient that is stated to be organic has been certified by the Soil Association & COSMOS as grown organically. 99% of the total product is organic.

Not Vegan: this product is not vegan as it contains beeswax.

How to use

Warm a pea-sized dollop of the balm between your fingers or palms before massaging onto the face and neck. Gently press into the skin with upwards strokes and circular movements

Sustainability

The glass packaging and carton are both recyclable. The carton is printed with vegetable ink.

Rehydration

The Bellissima Sea Buckthorn Balm rehydrates the drier areas of my face and has a light fragrance. Doesn’t leave my skin greasy and I’m pleased with this product. Also enjoyed my experience when visiting the Blomma shop at Kings Cross, London - both staff were friendly and helpful.
