How Our Natural Beauty & Wellbeing Store Started

I started Blomma Beauty because I found switching to an all natural and organic beauty regime hard work. I struggled to find a choice of products in conventional beauty stores so the experience was totally uninspiring, buying online at other organic skincare stores was a case of trial and error with plenty of wasted product, and health food shop purchases were tricky because the lovely person weighing out my veggies didn't have a clue about which products would be right for my skin type or my lifestyle.

Back in 2018 Blomma Beauty was just an idea inspired by my personal frustrations for shopping for natural and organic beauty products. Knowing there were hundreds of incredible independent brands out there without a collective voice I started showcasing them at pop ups, markets and festivals before my dream of having a permanent store came true in 2021 when we opened our natural beauty shop in Coal Drops Yard and then in Gabriels Wharf in 2022.

Since then, our concept has evolved beyond simply having a shop. We found that our most popular services were our consultations, facials and interactive workshops and ritual based experiences. And so in 2025 we moved to 2 separate locations in Islington London; our skincare studio where you can pop in and get advice on your natural regime or attend a workshop or masterclass; and a private facial studio for ultimate relaxation. 

We Are Curated Not Crowded

For our online shop, I use my experience in the buying industry to offer you a curated collection of effective and ethical natural and organic skincare, cosmetic and personal care products that I, or my friends would use. Choosing independent brands and products based on their ingredients, efficacy and environmental impact to build my edit on our natural beauty online store. I still check every single ingredient in the products we stock to help others avoid this laborious task.

Experience Is Everything

On the conscious beauty journey, you go down the inevitable ingredient rabbit hole, spending hours researching what's really green versus greenwashed and it kind of takes away that beautiful discovery experience that buying beauty products should be. I personally wanted shopping for organic beauty to have the same experiential quality as a conventional beauty hall, to feel inspired, be spoiled for choice and get lost in discovery. Most importantly, feeling there was a place I could go to that would give me honest advice in relation to my personal beauty ethos so I could make conscious choices for myself.

From our London skincare studio, you can come and have a skincare or make up consultation with myself or the team in a supportive, cosy and friendly environment so you can feel confident in your buying choices.

For me, it was so important to test products but it was such an investment, and often wasteful. So, in addition to our vegan beauty online store and our try before you buy service, we host different events so you can tap into our Blomma wisdom! .
